Anita is a Brownsville Brooklyn, NY native, who gained over a decade of real world experience in the areas of finance, strategy, and management.
She has a keen eye for out of the box thinking and strategy.
She is a leader who knows the importance of foundation building.
Universal compassion is what drives Anita to work with organizations providing a unique blend of support in the areas of fundraising, program sponsorships, securing qualified board members and creating a business strategy. Her experience has taught her the importance of consistency and leveraging the skills that are within her reach.
She has served as co-chair of conference planning committees and awards galas. She has also developed a leadership boot camp targeted for college students and raised money to provide educational support for disadvantaged youth.
She has curated programs with community based organizations to help increase the number of Minority/Women - owned Business Enterprises, registered voters, and opportunities for recruitment for jobs in underserved communities.
Prior to founding her own company, Anita held positions at Center Light Health System, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York, Brown Brothers Harriman, and Bank of New York Mellon.
Anita graduated from City University of New York, Bernard Baruch College. An Alum of Coro New York Leadership Center- participating member of Leadership NY class 19, she currently serves on the Community Board 16, in Ocean-Hill Brownsville, and Community Mediation Services in Jamaica Queens, NY.
She is an advisor to many non-profit organizations and is a dedicated mentor to young professionals.
A regular speaker on various topics including: The Financial Mentality, the importance of diversifying income, creating event strategies, managing credit and creating a family legacy.
Anita is licensed as a Notary in NY State, and is authorized to sell Life Insurance. One of her new life challenges is managing being a “Momprenuer” and having the courage to live a life that she has dreamed.
