Anita Pierce is the Principal at Eleven3seven5, a business consultancy, which develops and executes strategies that combine foundational education and community impact as the core of success to achieving business goals.
A Brownsville Brooklyn, NY native, Pierce has developed over twenty years of real-world experience in finance, strategy, and management. She is a SCORE Mentor, an advisor to many non-profit organizations, and small businesses. She is fiercely passionate about closing the knowledge gap between generations; She is considered an O.G (Original Guardian) to many professionals. Pierce is a regular speaker on various topics including: The Financial Mentality, Business Basics and strategies and is a facilitator of Workforce Development. She has been featured as a guest speaker for the BRIC's #BHeard series, and is the host and producer of two shows - The Brownsville Minute, and The Real Journey of the Entrepreneur.
Pierce’s experience has taught her the importance of consistency and leveraging the skills that are within her reach. She has a deep love for community work in particular areas of economic/financial wellness and supporting community members in the area of workforce development and entrepreneurship. Pierce designed a pathway for startups to become certified as MWBE's. She has collaborated with community based organizations to increase voter registrants and leveraged opportunities for recruitments for jobs in the most vulnerable communities. In previous roles, Pierce has developed leadership boot camps targeted for college students and raised money to provide educational support for disadvantaged youth.
Most recently, Pierce designed a Civic engagement program that elevates the voices of youth to be active within their communities at the local government level within community boards, tenant associations and stakeholder groups. Pierce graduated from City University of New York, Bernard Baruch College, she is an alum of the CORO Leadership NY program and currently serves as the Community Co-Chair for the Brownsville NeON Stakeholder group, and as an Advisor for Hudson Valley Women in Business.
Fun Fact: She speaks fluent Brooklyn, and went skydiving twice in one day. She vows to never do that again...
